AhlulBayt News Agency: Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, issued a stern warning on Tuesday, declaring that Iran will deliver a decisive and forceful response if the ongoing ceasefire is violated by the United States or Israel.
According to Mehr, he cautioned both nations to draw lessons from recent retaliatory strikes carried out by Iranian forces, which targeted strategic locations in the occupied territories and the U.S. Al-Udeid Airbase in Qatar.
Zolfaghari accused Israel of habitual misinformation and noted that Israeli drones had breached Iranian airspace earlier that morning, with attacks reported in several areas. He emphasized that Iran’s armed forces remain in a heightened state of readiness, equipped with full situational awareness to counter any threat.
The statement follows an earlier announcement by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), which confirmed that its units remain on high alert and fully prepared to respond to any breach of the truce. The IRGC noted that it had already launched a round of missile strikes on Israeli military targets as a direct response to attacks earlier that same day, describing the operation as a “historic lesson” delivered before the ceasefire came into effect.
